The Coastal Carolina Rally Krewe invites everyone to join us in Wilmington, North Carolina, the weekend of April 18-20, 2008 for the third edition of the Cape Fear 1000 Rally.

Once again, the rally will benefit the Victory Junction Gang Camp for chronically-ill children.

Registration is now closed for the 2008 Cape Fear 1000 Rally. Our thanks to all the riders who signed up.

This year we will again offer something for everyone. We will have a 24-hour rally event, a mini-rally, a ride-to-eat BBQ feast on Saturday, and a farewell breakfast on Sunday.

The 24-hour rally will begin at 1:00 pm on Friday, April 18, 2008. Each rider will choose from one of three possible starting locations: Milan, TN, Rome, NY, or Venice, FL. All riders will be due in Wilmington, North Carolina, by 3:00 pm. on Saturday.

The mini-rally will begin with rider check-in at 6:00 pm on Friday, followed by an informal gathering from 7:00-9:00 pm. The rider’s meeting begins at 5:30 am on Saturday; riders will be released at 6:00 am and are due back by 4:00 pm.

The BBQ feast will begin at 7:30 pm on Saturday, with rally results being announced, awards, and recognition of riders later in the evening.

The Cape Fear 1000 is a rally to benefit the Victory Junction Gang, an excellent organization dedicated to serving chronically-ill children ages 7 to 15. The Victory Junction Gang Camp fuels these children with memories that will sustain and inspire them.
