Please note: the 2013 Cape Fear 1000 Rally is full

The Coastal Carolina Rally Krewe invites everyone to join us in Wilmington, North Carolina, the weekend of April 19-21, 2013 for the eighth edition of the Cape Fear 1000 Rally. Once again, the Rally is to benefit Eddie's Road and Paws To The Rescue.

The Cape Fear 1000 rally is full. We are only accepting applications for the waiting list.

Applications for Registration may be submitted via email to rallymaster@capefear1000.com on or after January 1, 2013, and acceptance notices will be sent beginning January 15, 2013, will be considered in the order received, and we will accept applications until we have filled all available rider slots (115 registration slots are available - 90 for the 24-hour and 25 for the Mini-Rally), or March 15, 2013, whichever occurs first. Last year registration was closed less than 6 hours after it was opened to the public - don't wait.

Our Rally has been successful in the past and we will continue with the same idea of offering something for everyone this weekend. We will once again have a 24+ hour Rally event; a Mini-Rally; a BBQ Feast Saturday evening at the Finisher's Banquet; and, an informal Farewell gathering on Sunday morning.

The 24-hour Rally will begin at 10:00 a.m. (Eastern Time) on Friday the 19th . Each rider will choose from one of three possible starting locations: Batavia, NY, Union City, TN, or Wauchula, FL, and all riders will be due in Wilmington, North Carolina, not later than 3:00 p.m. on Saturday the 20th. The Mini-Rally will begin with rider check-in at 6:00 p.m. on Friday evening, followed by an informal gathering from 7:00-9:00 p.m. The Rider's Meeting begins at 5:30 a.m. on Saturday the 20th, riders will be released at 6:00 a.m. and are due back not later than 4:00 p.m. The BBQ Feast will begin at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday evening with rally results being announced, awards and recognition of riders at 8:30 p.m, or as soon thereafter as the scores can be tallied.

The Cape Fear 1000 is a rally to benefit Eddie's Road. Eddie's Road is a program of The Eddie James Foundation for Children. Founded in memory of Eddie James, the non-profit foundation directly funds and supports a variety of quality public and private programs dedicated to assist abused children and young adults.
