Please note: the 2014 Cape Fear 1000 Rally is in the books

The Coastal Carolina Rally Krewe would like to thank everyone who joined us in Wilmington, North Carolina, the weekend of April 25-27, 2014 for the ninth edition of the Cape Fear 1000 Rally - especially our volunteers.  We simply cannot do this without the help of such a wonderful team. This year, we will once again benefit Eddie's Road and, new to us this year, Ms. Marie's Peaceful Surroundings.

An announcement about the 2015 The Cape Fear 1000 rally will be made in October.  Please check back then.

The Cape Fear 1000 Rally has found a successful formula in the idea of offering something for everyone during rally weekend. With a 24+ hour Rally event; a Mini-Rally; a BBQ Feast Saturday evening at the Finisher's Banquet; and, an informal Farewell gathering on Sunday morning and a host of duties for volunteers from rider check-in to scoring to just doing whatever needs done, everyone can participate and enjoy their weekend.

The 24-hour Rally generally begins at 10:00 a.m. (Eastern Time) on Friday and all riders will be due in Wilmington, North Carolina, not later than 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Mini-Rally will begin with rider check-in at 6:00 p.m. on Friday evening, followed by an informal gathering from 7:00-9:00 p.m. If the is going to be one, the Rider's Meeting begins at 5:30 a.m. on Saturday. Riders will be released at 6:00 a.m. on Saturday and are due back not later than 4:00 p.m.  The BBQ Feast will begin at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday evening with rally results being announced, awards and recognition of riders at 8:30 p.m, or as soon thereafter as the scores can be tallied.

The Cape Fear 1000 is a long-distance, endurance motorcycle rally benefiting Ms. Marie's Peaceful Surroundings and Eddie's Road.

Ms. Marie's Peaceful Surroundings is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization providing hospice and other necessary care for senior and terminal animals.

Eddie's Road is a program of The Eddie James Foundation for Children. Founded in memory of Eddie James, the non-profit foundation directly funds and supports a variety of quality public and private programs dedicated to assist abused children and young adults.
